His Excellency Mr. Guy-Alain E. Gauze is Ambassador of the Ivory Coast in Geneva, Switzerland, and Ambassador Extraordinaire and Plenipotentiary of Ivory Coast at the United Nations (UN). He is also the permanent Representative of Ivory Coast for the World Organization of Commerce (OMC) in Geneva. His Excellency was a special Advisor to the President of Ivory Coast. Ambassador Gauze is the Minister of Promotion for the Development of Foreign Trade. His Excellency Mr. Gauze remains President of the sub-committee of sustainable development of the ACP States "Africa, Carribean, and Pacific". The ACP States are the countries that are signatories of the Lomé Convention. He was also the Executive Director of the International Cocoa Organization for fifteen years. Mutombo Bakafwa Nsenda, Vice Prime Minister, National Security and Defense
Mutombo Bakafwa Nsenda is a politician of Congo-Kinshasa. He was the governor of the province of Kasai-Occidental in the Democratic Republic of the Congo since October 2006 until February 2007. Since the end of November, he was the Minister of Justice and Human Rights until October of 2008. He is currently the Vice Prime Minister of the DRC. The Minister has had long and rich experience in the management of businesses of the State. Minister Nsenda belongs to the Congolese political inheritance. As a shining lawyer established in the 70's along with the chief of the province of Western Kasaï, Minister Nsenda has illustrated himself in the defense of weak. He was rewarded by a mandate for deputy elect in the town of Kananga. He has also been the head of the ministry for the mines. Manifestly known for his generosity, Minister Nsenda has contributed to repairing the roof of the teaching Institute of Kananga, and has also offered a generator of 10 kVA to the Institute. David Mutamba Dibwe, Honorable Senator of DRC
David Mutamba Dibwe is an Honorable Senator of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He alsowas The former CEO of SNELL (an electric company of Congo). Before being in the political world, Honorable Senator David Mutamba Dibwe, worked in the mining area in Congo. Because of his knowledge and great experience, Senator Dibwe occupied stations of high responsibility for the mining company Gécamine. Senator Dibwe holds a strong belief in the importance of education, and would like to see the literacy rate in the DR of Congo increase. Alexis Tambwe Mwamba, Minister of Foreign Relations, DRC
Mr. Alexis Tambwe Mwamba is the former Minister of Finance and Planning for the Democratic Republic of Congo. He is currently the Minister of Foreign Relations of the DRC. He is a close friend of the Mwamba family. Mr. Mwamba has represented his country during ministerial conferences for the launch of a 2006 Humanitarian Action Plan for the country. It focused on the areas of food security, health, reintegration, protection, HIV/AIDS, coordination, education, water and sanitation, shelter, mine action and gender. Felicien Muleba Mutoka, Former General Manager Commercial Bank of Zaïre
Mr. Felicien Muleba Mutoka is the former General Manager of the Commercial Bank of Zaïre, now known as the Commercial Bank of the Congo. Mr. Mutoka is currently the CEO of the Le Marinel Hotel in Kinshasa. He and the Le Marinel Hotel have hosted many human rights organizations from all over the world who have had discussions about the conditions of the Congo and how to make improvements. Joseph Mukania Kabwe, Principal Advisor of Finance to President of DRC
Joseph Mukania Kabwe has a degree in finances and economics, and works in various organizations throughout Congo as well as Africa. He represents the Congo to international institutions such as the World Bank. Mr. Mukania is a key piece of the economy of the Congo, and is held in great value due to his financial and economic status. Kimbembe Mazunga, Principal Advisor to President of DRC
Kimbembe Mazunga is a Civil Engineer in Mechanis and has been working at "Office des routes" since 1986; he was the governor of the city-province of Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo. He previously served as principal counselor to the Chief of State in charge of Infrastructures, as well as Minister of Public Works, Regional Planning, Urbanism and Habitat during the Transitional Government. Vika di Panzu is the GM of SNELL which is the national electric company in the Congo. He was the former CEO of SNELL. Raphaël Musampa Nseya is a Rector Of Université Libre Of Mbuji Mayi and a professor at the official University of Mbuji Mayi in Kasaï Oriental, which is the hometown to the Mwamba family. His son, Kiki Musampa is a famous soccer player in the European League. Mr. Musampa is a representative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Congo. Mr. Musmpa has been personally involved in human rights, and holds strongs beliefs in the human right to freedom and education. Richard Kebeya is the current General Manager of the Commercial Bank of Congo. Mr. Kebeya has helped in funding schools in remote areas throughout Congo such as Bukavu and Kasaï. Mrs. Atoinette Nyakunoba is a very successful busines woman in the Congo. She has been involved in providing shelter for orphans who have been displaced. The shelters provide a safe haven for so many women who have been through horrendous attrocities. Mrs. Nyakunoba has a God given ability to help others, and she loves her country of Congo. Koffi Olomide was born in Kisangani, Democratic Republic of Congo.Koffi grew up in Kinshasa. He went to France to study. While in Paris, he began playing the guitar and writing songs. On his return to Congo Koffi repopularized the slower style of soukous, which had fallen out of fashion. Koffi has successfully won 4 kora in south Africa and also won the best artist in central Africa.

Alex Forrest is a close friend of the Mwamba family. Alex has lived in Brussels, Belgium, where he was actively involved with an American football club, the Black Angels. This program allows for children to take part in the football experience, and help in building up strong character and discipline through football. Norman Nixon, NBA
Norman Nixon is a retired professional basketball player for the NBA, who spent ten seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers and the San Diego/Los Angeles Clippers. Nixon was the 22nd overall pick in the 1977 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers out of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He helped the Lakers to win NBA championships in 1980 and 1982. After six successful years with the Lakers, he joined the Clippers. In his first year with there, he led the league in assists and made the All-Star team for the second time. In his retirement years, Nixon concentrated on several business ventures, and served one season doing radio commentary for the Clippers, as well as doing analyst work for postgame coverage of ABC's NBA telecasts. Nixon is married to actress/producer/director/dancer Debbie Allen. Norm has been involved in numerous philanthropic activities throughout the world, and has used his notoriety to better the lives of others. He has made a positive impact on all the charitable activities he is involved in. Coach Mike Leach, Texas Tech University
Mike C. Leach is the current head coach of the Texas Tech Red Raiders football team. Regarded as one of the most innovative offensive minds in college football, Leach has had a winning season every year since his tenure began at Tech. In 1986, Leach earned a law degree from Pepperidine University. Leach is also one of the most prominent graduates of the United States Sports Academy, from which he earned a Master's of Sports Science/Coaching in 1988. Leach is married with four children. Dr. Robert Morris received his M.D. from the University of Kansas Medical Center, and completed an internship and residency at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Dr. Morris has served as Director of Emergency Services at Natividad Medical Center, Santa Cruz Community Hospital and Dominican Hospital. Dr. Morris founded Doctors On Duty Urgent Care, which became affiliated with Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System in 1996. Dr. Morris has been a member of the Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System Board since 2001. Dr. Morris also was a member of the Peace Corp and has spent time in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Ken Murray, Senior Associate Athletic Director, Texas Tech University
Ken Murray was raised in Africa, the son of a Presbyterian missionary. Both Ken and his wife Lenore, grew up as children in the Congo. Ken's African name was Kueta Mikobe wa Muambi Mikobe ken. He grew up in Kananga, which is the same town as Leon and Alphonsine Mwamba. Ken and his wife grew up speaking Tshiluba, and Ken did not speak english until he was 6. Professionally, Ken Murray worked for the Atlanta Falcons, East Tennessee State, Eastern Kentucky, University of Southwestern Louisiana and Texas Tech University. Ken remains the Senior Associate Athletics Director at Texas Tech University. Ken and his wife Lenore are close friends of the Mwamba's, and are very excited to be involved with the foundation. Both Ken and his wife Lenore love the Congo, and have lended the foundation their support.

Gerald Bourque earned a B.A. in Government in1974 at Lamar University. His post graduate degree as a Doctor of Jurisprudence, in 1979 at South Texas College of Law. Benoît Turcotte, is a Criminal Defense Attorney with the International Criminal Defense Attorney's Assocation (ICDAA) and the International Legal Foundation (ILF). Mr. Turcotte gave a speech entitled "Post-War Justice in Afghanistan" about his work creating and operating a network of public defender offices throughout Afghanistan. Mr. Turcotte is a renown lawyer in Montreal. He specializes in particular the International Criminal Defense Attorneys Association. As a recognized lecturer, Mr. Turcotte took part in conference nationally as well as internationally. Being that Mr. Turcotte is a senior analyst of policies, he was invited to hold a speech for the Office of the Private Council, which is a directive of the government of Canada, on the activities of regulation for the community of the regulators at the time of the 2nd annual National Workshop of Canada. Maître Alain Dubois is a notorious criminal jurist in Quebec. He also represents the Québécois Association of Lawyers of Defense. From 2000 to 2002 he was the president of this association. David Galvez Roche was always interested in arts in his youth. In 1997, he obtained, with excellent results, a diploma in Plastic Arts (Painting, Sculpture and Engraving) at the prestigious National Academy of Fine Arts of San Alejandro in Havana. Continuing his studies, he obtains in 1983, a Bachelor�s degree in Arts History from the University of Havana, Cuba. As a professor of Visual Arts and Arts History at the Ministry for the Arts, and Ministry of Education in Cuba (1970-1991), he continues his pedagogical and educational work since his arrival in Canada. Often, he has spoken at International Conferences on Caribbean Art and Latino-american Conferences on Artistic Education. His rich and diversified works of art received prizes, both nationally and internationally. They are found in private and public collections in Canada, Cuba, the Unites States, Mexico, Spain and many other countries around the world. His artwork is appreciated and has been shown in private and public gallery such as the University of Havana, the Ministry of Culture in Cuba, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Havana, and at the private collection of Pueblo in Gumenos. He also give a incredible gift for the Trans Canadian Trail opening in Longueuil. His recent exhibitions include: Olympic Fine Arts 2008 in Beijing, 3rd Beijing International Art Biennale, 2007 International Biennial of Contemporary Art in Florence, and A Passion, Two Encounters and Three Glances at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. He was recently invited to some prestigious art exhibition such as the Florence Biennale 2009 and 8th edition of Dak'Art - African art Biennale of Dakar. Coach Bart Andrus, Offensive Coach for Tennessee Titans, NFL
Bart Andrus was the head coach of the NFL Europa team the Amsterdam Admirals where he has held that position from 2001 until 2007, when the NFL Europa ceased operations. He is currently and offensive coach for the Tennessee Titans, NFL. He served as head coach at Rocky Mountain College for one season in 1996. For this he received the 1999 the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Coach of the Year Award. Andrus moved on to spend three seasons in the NFL with the Tennessee Oilers as an offensive assistant from 1997-1998 and as the quarterbacks coach (tutoring NFL star Steve McNair) in 1999 when the team had been renamed to Tennessee Titans. He was a member of the Titans coaching staff during Super Bowl XXXIV following the 1999 NFL season.Andrus changed the United States for Europe, when he took the position as offensive coordinator for the NFL Europa team Rhein Fire. Here he won his first World Bowl ring as an offensive coordianator. He was named NFL Europa League Coach of the Year and earned his second World Bowl ring as head coach with the Amsterdam Admirals in 2006. Coach Ruffin McNeill, Texas Tech University
In his 22nd season on the collegiate level, assistant head coach Ruffin McNeill enters his eighth season as a member of Mike Leach's staff. Carrying dual duties as defensive tackles coach and special teams coordinator, McNeill is one of the most versatile coaches on the staff and also one of the most beloved by the Red Raider football teams. Seen as a father figure by those within the program, McNeill promotes a family-type atmosphere, while at the same time providing disciplined instruction on the field. Many young men have been the beneficiaries of McNeill's presence in the program. McNeill was Patrice Majondo-Mwamba's position coach at Texas Tech.
Coach Bill Bedenbaugh, University of Arizona
Bill Bedenbaugh joined the Arizona coaching staff in January 2007 and is currently the Running Game Coordinator/offensive line. He came to the Wildcat coaching staff after seven seasons at Texas Tech. Bedenbaugh was a four-year starter at center at Iowa Wesleyan College and played for current Texas Tech head coach Mike Leach there. He graduated from Iowa Wesleyan in 1995 with a degree in business and earned a master's degree in sport management from Texas Tech in December 2001. In 2006 his charges paved the way for a Tech team that finished first in the Big 12 in total offense, was third in the Big 12 Conference, and 13th nationally in scoring. Andre Patterson is regarded as one of the better defensive line coaches in the NFL. Among the players he's worked are All-Pro John Randle and former Cal standout Duane Clemens. Patterson also has Bay Area ties, having played at Contra Costa Junior College before starring at Montana. He was the head coach Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo from 1994-96. He also was a defensive line coach for the Dallas Cowboys, Cleveland Browns, and the Denver Broncos. Having been a college football coach for many years, Andre realizes the importance of education.

Jamie Thompson is a defensive coach for Oklahoma State. Thompson was a safety for the New York Jets, NFL. He played college football at Oklahoma State. Jamie also played for NFL Europa. Al Wilson, NFL
Al Wilson is a linebacker, and has played for the Denver Broncos, NFL. He was a team captain on the 1998 Tennessee team that won the National Championship and back to back SEC Titles. Wilson was named as an All American in 1998 after being a three year starter for the Volunteers. Wilson was drafted after his final year at Tennessee as the 31st pick in the first round of the 1999 NFL Drafts and signed to the Denver Broncos. He received his bachelor’s degree in information studies from Syracuse University upon finishing his playing career. Lynn McGruder, NFL
Lynn McGruder is a defensive lineman for the Seattle Seahawks, NFL. He played college football at the University of Oklahoma where he earned a Communications major. McGruder and Oklahoma wide receiver Mark Clayton assisted victims of a serious automobile mishap on a highway near school in the 2003 offseason. McGruder helped save a family of five when he pulled four of the victims through a door, then doused the fire with an extinguisher. "It was adrenaline," he said. "I was just put in that spot by God to help people. Anyone in my shoes would've reacted the same way." He received the Big 12 Sportsman of the Year Award in 2003 and was nominated for the Football Writers Association's Most Courageous Award. Lynn has lended his support to the Mwamba Family Foundation.
Taurean Henderson, NFL
Taurean Henderson is a running back, who played with the Minnesota Vikings. He has since been signed by the Atlanta Falcons, who allocated him to NFL Europa where he played for the Rhein Fire. He played college football at Texas Tech University. As of 2006, he ranked third in all-time receptions, out of all players including wide receivers. He has caught over 300 passes in his career. Manuel Ramírez is an offensive lineman and was selected by the Detroit Lions with the St. Louis Rams' pick (117th overall) in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football at Texas Tech University starting for four years on an offense that was in the top three in passing in NCAA Division-I Football for each of those years. He was named a 2nd Team All-Big Twelve Offensive Lineman in 2005. Manuel holds a strong belief and faith in God, and is always there for others. Emmanuel Akah began his professional career with the London Olympians in the British American Football League. He then signed with the Miami Dolphins in June of 2006. Emmanuel played with the Galaxy in NFL Europa in 2007 and helped lead Frankfurt to World Bowl XV. He attended training camp with the Denver Broncos and then spent time on the practice squad of the Kansas City Chiefs. Started collegiate career at SUNY Canton University (1999-2001) and then transferred to Winston-Salem Sate University (2001-2004)... Began as a defensive lineman before switching to offensive line in 2002. Majored in Sociology with a minor in Political Science. Philippe Gardent, National League One Rugby
Philippe Gardent was born in France and is a rugby league player for Celtic Crusaders in National League One. He played linebacker for the Washington Redskins and the Carolina Panthers in the NFL. Philippe also played for the Cologne Centurions of NFL Europa since 2005. He also played for the Berlin Thunder in 2003 and in 2004 when the Berlin Thunder won the World Bowl. Philippe has been involved in various charities throughout France that have helped under privileged children, and enjoys giving back. C.J. Björk
Carl-Johan Björk was born in Sweden, and played linebacker for the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys, NFL. He also played for the Amsterdam Admirals of NFL Europa. As a young boy living in Sweden, he played for his hometown team called Täby Flyers. C.J. has volunteered for many charities and has a big heart. Yoan Schnee
Yoan Schnee was born in France, and was a tight end for the Amsterdam Admirals of NFL Europa for six seasons. Yoan is part of the French national team. He was educated at Tennessee Chatanooga. Yoan has played football in several European countries, and spends his off-season working in the French stock market. He is highly educated and has traveled to many places in the world. Throughout his travels and life experiences, Yoan understands and appreciated the value of education. Sandino Octobre was born in France, and was a running back for the Amsterdam Admirals in NFL Europa. He also played at the French Football Academy. He is currently studying electrical engineering. Sandino teaches flag football to children in his hometown of Paris, France. He loves children, and believes that education is extremely important. Coach Kanavis McGhee
Kanavis McGhee is a college football linebacker and NFL defensive end. Kanavis McGhee at played college football at Colorado State. Kanavis was drafted in the second round of the 1991 NFL Draft (overall 55th), at 22, as a defensive end by the New York Giants, where he played for 3 seasons. After this he joined the Cincinnate Bengals as free agent before returning to his hometown to play with the Houstan Oilers for the season of 1995. McGhee gained coaching experience while serving as head coach of Ross Shaw Sterling High School in Houstan Texas. In 2006 he spent the season with the Amsterdam Admirals as a defensive assistant. Kanavis has offered his support to the Mwamba Family Foundation.
Anthony Toney
Anthony Toney is a former professional football running back for five seasons in the NFL for the Philadelphia Eagles. He was drafted in the second round, 37th pick overall. Anthony is currently a Unit Director for Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County; he works at the Seaside unit. He became involved with the club because he enjoys working with young people and wants to have a positive influence on their development. Anthony has been with the Boys & Girls Club since 1994. Coach Dennis Simmons, Texas Tech University
A former three-year starter at Brigham Young University, Dennis Simmons enters his seventh season as assistant athletics director/director of quality control at Texas Tech. Simmons earned his master’s degree in educational leadership in August 1999 from BYU. He served as an NFL Minority Fellowship intern with the Buffalo Bills during the summer of 1999. He is currently an assistant wide receiver coach at Texas Tech University. Dennis has lended his support to the Mwamba Family Foundation.
Coach Bennie Wylie, Texas Tech University
Bennie Wylie is in his third season at Texas Tech and first as the athletics department’s head strength and conditioning coach. Wylie’s presence has been felt from the beginning and he has quickly established himself as one of the top strength coaches in the country. His training methods and dedication to the student-athlete has garnered national attention and has helped him earn the respect of those who work with him. Prior to his appointment at Texas Tech, Wylie was an assistant strength and conditioning coach with the Dallas Cowboys for four seasons. Steve Pincock, Head football athletic trainer, Texas Tech University
Steve Pincock is in his fifth season with the Red Raider football program. Pincock came to Tech from BYU, where he was the head men’s basketball, head baseball and assistant football athletic trainer for nine years. Pincock was the head athletic trainer and strength coach at Snow College (Ephriam, Utah) for three years before returning to BYU in 1993. Pincock graduated from Ricks College (Rexburg, Idaho) and from BYU in 1990. He was a three-time All- American power lifter at BYU. Additional experience includes an internship in the NFL with the New York Giants and the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta as a baseball athletic trainer. Steve has offered his support to the Mwamba Family Foundation's cause.
Antonio Huffman, Texas Tech University
Antonio Huffman is a cornerback that played college football at Texas Tech University. He graduated with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. Antonio is now active with the football program at Texas Tech, and has resumed the duties of assistant athletics director. B.J. Symons was the NCAA single season passing record at Texas Tech University. B.J. was a quarterback for the Frankfurt Galaxy in NFL Europa. He was drafted by the Houstan Texans in 2004. Kliff Kingsbury, Texas Tech University, CFL
Kliff Kingsbury is currently a Canadian football quarterback for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL. Kliff also played for the New England Patriots and the New Orleans Saints, NFL. Kingsbury played college football for Texas Tech University from 1998-2002. He assumed the starting role in 2000, starting in 39 games between 2000 and 2002. He finished his career as the school's most decorated player. He held 39 school, 13 Big 12 and seven NCAA records at the time of his graduation. He was a management major in college. Patrick is the Executive Assistant of the Omega Boys Club/Street Soldiers, a youth development and violence prevention organization headquartered in San Francisco, CA that emphasizes academic achievement and non-involvement with drugs. Patrick has dedicated his life to help youth by provide them the tools for success.
